Senator Magnus Ngei Abe,the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Rivers South East Senatorial District re-run election has assured the people of Opobo/Nkoro
that he would attract federal projects to the area if elected.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Opobo town,Senator Abe said that he was in a better position to attract development projects to the area than his opponent.
He urged the people to vote for him in the best interest of Rivers state and the district.
Senator Abe appealed to them to come out enmasse on the 19th of March and cast their votes for APC pointing out that their votes would now count.
In his own speech at the meeting,Dr.Dakuku Adol Peterside,the APC gubernatorial candidate in the April 11,2015 general elections,assured Senator Abe of sweeping votes in Opobo.
He said that he would be part of the campaign to educate the people on the strategic need to vote for Senator Abe.
"From today we will take it as our responsibility to go from house-to-house to ensure that everybody is set with their permanent voters card(PVC) to come out on the 19th of March to vote for Senator Abe and all APC candidates in the re-run polls”.
